Verifying Carbon Footprint through ISO 14064

In 2022, PSA Marine engaged a third-party certification body, TÜV SÜD PSB to perform a verification of the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) statement reported by the company, in accordance to ISO 14064-1:2018. The verification of PSA Marine’s GHG statement includes the assessment of the company’s GHG information system, monitoring and reporting plan/protocol. A risk-based approach was adopted, drawing on an understanding of the risks associated with reporting GHG emissions information and the controls in place to mitigate. TÜV SÜD PSB concluded that PSA Marine’s GHG statement is conforming to the requirements of ISO 14064-1:2018.

Named as Gerické (Ge-ri-kay), the farm is a tribute to Dr. William Frederick Gericke - the "father of hydroponics", where vegetables are grown and harvested through a modern hydroponics system, incorporated with smart technologies such as IoT (Internet of Things) sensors and cameras.
