Translating Data Into Knowledge For Sustainability

The Fleet D2K (Data-To-Knowledge) Centre is the latest PSA Marine initiative in leveraging data and technology to digitalise and decarbonise our Singapore fleet.

With the use of IoT, cloud and other digital technologies, we can now observe and monitor our vessel fleet anytime and anywhere whilst at the same time, leverage video technology to detect anomalies and predict behaviours.

By combining multiple streams of data such as geo-location, vessel movement, machinery health and equipment operating status, PSA Marine translates data into knowledge and action. Starting from Scope 1 emissions, we are doing our part in creating a sustainable future for generations to come.

Dual Fuel Dual Possibilities

As part of PSA Marine’s continuous commitment to a greener marine environment, two dual fuel LNG harbour tugs, PSA Aspen and PSA Oak, were built and deployed for operations in 2019 and 2020. The PSA Marine dual fuel LNG harbour tugs are equipped to operate in either diesel or LNG mode. These vessels contribute towards significant reductions in particulate matter, SOx-, NOx-, CO2- emissions and noise.
