From Farm To Table To Community

PSA Marine believes that we have the responsibility to support charitable social causes in the community we operate in. Taking a spin, PSA Marine weaves in green purposes as we give back to the community. On 20 May 2022, our employees gathered at Gerické, PSA Marine’s smart hydroponics rooftop farm for a meaningful cause. Vegetables grown at Gerické were harvested and packed for donation to St Luke’s ElderCare (SLEC). A total of 120 kg of Water Spinach, Choy Sum and Bak Choy were brought over to SLEC’s Telok Blangah and Ayer Rajah Care Centres to be distributed to the elderly! This initiative saw how sustainability could come into full circle, from farm to table back to community, making difference one step at a time.

Reimagining Work Through Remote Surveys

In collaboration with Bureau Veritas Marine Singapore, PSA Marine carried out an inaugural remote marine survey for PSA Aspen, one of PSA Marine’s dual fuel LNG harbour tug. This marks the first time a harbour tug registered under the Singapore Registry of Ships has undergone a fully accredited annual survey conducted remotely, without a surveyor physically present onboard the vessel. This was followed next by PSA Oak, PSA Marine’s other dual fuel LNG harbour tug, completing its annual survey in the same fashion.
