RESPONSIBILITIES

Take leadership in the planning and deployment of pilotage, harbour towage and waterboat resources to support 24/7 operations of the busiest port in the world

  • Uphold the efficiency of the company’s services which is part of Singapore’s maritime ecosystem
  • Directly communicate with vessels to coordinate arrival and service timings; and
  • Attend to all customer queries and requests for new orders, amendments and cancellations

REQUIREMENTS

  • Possess at least a Diploma or equivalent
  • Have good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be able to remain calm and make logical decisions under stress and emergency circumstances
  • Be proficient in operating computer-based control systems
  • Be proficient in MS Office; and
  • Be willing to perform shift work

WORKING HOURS

0730hrs – 1930hrs / 1930hrs – 0730hrs

JOB LOCATION

WEST COAST

RESPONSIBILITIES

Candidates are expected to:-

  • Take lead in planning and deployment of marine crew to harbour crafts;
  • Take lead in enforcing marine crew discipline;
  • Perform compliance checks to ensure personnel and safety at the base and onboard craft;
  • Arrange for daily diesel orders and attend to bunker deliveries;
  • Coordinate with Fleet Engineering team on the repair and maintenance status of harbour crafts and equipment;
  • Update daily records of craft movements, deployment, craft breakdowns;
  • Perform regular checks and surveys on the status and upkeep of base equipment; and
  • Assist Section Managers in operational assignments and projects.

REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate should preferably:-

  • Possess at least a Diploma in Engineering (Marine) / Maritime Business / Business / Logistics and Supply Chain Management;
  • Have good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be willing to perform shift work (candidates will be entitled to shift and applicable allowances);
  • Be proficient in using computer and mobile device applications/systems;
  • Be proficient in MS Office; and
  • Be able to work under stress.

0700hrs – 1900hrs / 1900hrs – 0700hrs

JOB LOCATION

RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will be required to undertake the following roles and responsibilities:-

  • Be responsible for ferrying harbour pilots or other approved persons as assigned by the Mission Command Centre, safely and on time;
  • Be updated regularly on, and to adhere to, LTA’s traffic regulations, prevailing road conditions and PSA Marine’s policies and regulations;
  • Be familiar with berth locations in the port terminals and routes to and from these places; and
  • Ensure the proper running, use, care and cleanliness of the assigned vehicle.

REQUIREMENTS

The successful candidate shall preferably:-

  • Possess valid Class 3 / Class 3A driving licence;
  • Have a good driving record with relevant experience; and
  • Be willing to perform shift work;
  • Possession of a Bus Driver’s Vocational Licence will be advantageous.

0700hrs – 1500hrs / 1500hrs – 2200hrs /2200hrs – 0700hrs
