Trialing Environmental-Friendly Coatings For Performance Enhancement

PSA Marine is in the progress of trailing the application of environmentally friendly silicon-based coatings on selected vessels’ hulls and propellers, which will in turn increase water flow and reduce drag. Along with the improved hydrodynamic qualities, reduced energy consumption was observed from the tested vessels, which subsequently reduces carbon footprint in the long run.
