Pilotage Orders and Deployment Procedures for Arrival and Departure Vessels

(A) Arrival Vessels
  For safety and operational considerations, Arrival Vessels will be sequenced to arrive at Boarding Grounds in 15 minute slots. Generally, each Boarding Ground can receive 3 vessels in each 15 minute slot.
   
1. Orders for pilotage service should be placed at least 4 hours before the SRT.
 
2. Subject to a resource and channel capacity check, a Confirmed Service Time (CST) will be allocated. Party placing or triggering the pilot order should notify Master of Vessel of the CST.

At or just before CST minus 4 hours, Master of Vessel shall contact Pilot Office for a pre-arrival notification. This is to track arrival of Vessel at Boarding Ground at CST.

  The pre-arrival notification message should be as follows:

5. The CST will be “LOCK IN” at CST minus 4 hours.
   
6. Once CST is “LOCK IN”:
a) If Vessel does not arrive at Boarding Ground at CST, Vessel will be allocated a new CST.
b) If Vessel arrives on schedule at Boarding Ground but the berth to which Vessel is destined for is not ready, the Vessel will be anchored and will be subject to a new pilot order and receipt of new CST.
   
7. Masters are required to re-confirm their Boarding Ground arrival at CST minus 2 hours with Pilot Office via VHF Channel 20 or telephone number at (65) 6321 1762.
   
(B) Departure Vessels
1. Orders for pilotage service must be placed at least 4 hours before SRT.
   
2. Subject to a resource and channel capacity check, a CST will be allocated. Party placing or triggering the pilot order should notify Master of Vessel of the CST.
   
3. The CST will be “LOCK IN” at CST minus 4 hours.
   
4. Once CST is “LOCK IN” if Vessel is not ready to sail, the pilot job will be cancelled and Vessel will be subject to a new pilot order and receipt of new CST.
